The Foundation in Arts offers an introductory pathway for students who want to continue into creative and design-based undergraduate study. Learners develop visual awareness, drawing, design thinking, communication, digital literacy and academic skills through practical projects and foundational subjects. The programme supports portfolio development while strengthening confidence, creativity and

Your Degree Pathways

Upon successful completion of the Foundation in Arts programme, students may progress into the following undergraduate degree programmes:

Bachelor of Fashion Design Technology (Honours)
Bachelor in Graphic Design (Honours)
Bachelor of Multimedia (Honours)
Other related creative-industry degree pathways, subject to entry requirements

Entry Requirements

Check Your Eligibility

Possess SPM, SPMV, GCE O-Level or equivalent with at least five credits.
Some creative pathways may require credits in English and/or Mathematics.
UEC applicants normally require at least Grade B in three subjects, subject to the pathway requirements.
International students: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent, subject to current Senate requirements.
