Programme Overview

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education prepares students to design, deliver and evaluate meaningful learning experiences for young children. The curriculum covers child development, curriculum planning, language, mathematics, science, creativity, health, safety, family engagement and centre management. Practicum placements enable students to apply professional knowledge in authentic early-childhood settings.

Entry Requirements

Check Your Eligibility
  • SPM or equivalent with at least three credits; OR
  • STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; OR
  • UEC with at least three Bs; OR
  • STAM with at least Maqbul; OR
  • SKM Level 3 in Early Child Care or Preschool, subject to screening and bridging;
    OR
  • A Certificate in Early Childhood Education or any recognised Certificate
    qualification.
  • International students: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.
